What You’ll Do
As the Customer Development Engineer, you’ll act as the customers’ advocate within Techficient and will work to make a meaningful and measurable impact for our customers
To be successful, you will have to:

Learn our technology stack and effectively speak to the products and services offered

Onboard new customers and nurture that relationship throughout their entire time with Techficient as customer retention is key

Continuously gauge customer engagement and keep a pulse on customers needs by proactive communication and satisfaction surveys

Find ways to increase customer adoption and cross-sell Techficient’s offerings

Communicate with Product Development to ensure up-to-date messaging on our product roadmap

Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer feedback is shared and satisfaction is met

Ensure all client requests are escalated, prioritized and completed in a timely manner

Ensure all incoming client support requests are tracked and documented through an enterprise ticketing system

Ability to triage various requests from clients and communicate with internal team members to ensure requests are escalated and resolved

Be a part of the implementations team for system conversions

Manage and update implementation plans via our project management software and provide constant and transparent communication both internally and externally

Act as the main point of contact for the customer

Lead weekly status meetings with the customer

Aid in testing the data and functionality of the system and communicate with the development teams to make the necessary adjustments

What You Need

Self-motivated and able to deal with ambiguity, and manage multiple customers at one time

Ability to explain complicated or technical information in a simple way to non-technical audiences

Adapt well to change and problem solve quickly and smoothly

Self-learner and ability to pick up new things quickly

Dig deep to find answers to difficult questions with a strong sense of urgency in response time

Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills

Previous experience in the insurance industry is a plus

A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field is required

Minimum of three years of Account Executive experience required

Ideally, you are located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, or open to relocating here
